Fall 2023 Trend Report: Weekend Rain. Mother Nature has been playing some kind of cruel joke on everyone in Northeast over the last couple months, giving us 4-5 consecutive days of lovely sun-soaked workdays followed by biblical storms at precisely the moments when we actually have time to be out and about.

Now, as a noted glass half full kind of guy, I have to say that these untimely inclement periods have led to an atypically high usage rate for almost all of the newest outerwear additions currently floating around my rotation. Jackets are being jacketed!

Add in in the general reality that it’s almost November/rapidly getting colder with each passing day, and below I’m presenting a two-parter. First, I’m going to break down 30 of my favorite jackets and coats for Fall and Winter from across the internet—covering all of the major categories including parkas, puffers, overcoats, and more. But none of these are ones I actually have in my possession.
