Actor Adam Pally Flexes His Latest Fashion Come-Ups
The Sonic and Iron Man 3 STAR shares the stuff he's recently copped.
What’s great about Adam Pally is his passion for big flexing rivals that of my own, even though his actual job has nothing to do with clothes. (That’s what we call a multi-hyphenate, folks.) He’s sweated over spending too much on jawnz, texted me rare shoes at midnight he’s thinking of copping, and (allegedly) lifted on-screen drip from network television shows. In a world where actors outsource their style to pro stylists to end up looking like Banana Republic clones, one who’s really bout it bout it is nothing if refreshing.
So I initially asked Adam to list out stuff he wanted to cop—a pretty standard “wishlist” blog practice that’s been going on since the dawn of dot com. Instead, he decided to tell me about the stuff he already owns that he loves. We Stan a gratitude list king.
Adam also has a travel show coming out on TruTV called “101 Places to Party Before You Die” that I may or may not have seen and it’s a damn treat.
Here’s what Pally had to say:
“Fuck what I want. Let’s appreciate what I got.” — Adam Pally, Actor, 40 Years Old
1 ) Cartier Santos
My entire family went absolutely dummy for my 40th birthday. I didn’t get many gifts but I got this one from several parties combined and it was worth it. A 2022 Cartier Santos just going crazy on my wrist. My arm so dumb it’s going Santos. Cartier is having a moment and I love the light feel on my wrist. I’ve never been a two toned guy but man does this shit shine. Is it cool to be talking about expensive watches in this time of economic hardship economic disparity and civil rights erosions? I don’t know but this watch so ILL [Editor’s Note: Go Watch Adam’s show Champagne Ill on Hulu].
2) Vintage Nike ACG
I’m collecting all kinds. I’m hanging on to Gorp by mixing it with workwear…throw in a little Japanese vintage Americana and you got PallyCorpe™. This is a great way to get that hiking vibe for cheaper and greener then copping something for your buddy’s Portland bachelor party from Paragon and then never wearing again. I see you carabiner stolen valiners.
3) Adopted rat dog named Irma
We call her Myrna. I had a dog named Knish for 12 years. I’m not a crazy dog person, but I found this blonde unicorn mutt doodle that looked like a Savory jewish pastry on the side of the road in Tom’s river New Jersey, and we where inseparable for 12 years. She met all my kids, they loved her she was a special dog. Then she died. It was very very sad. For me and my wife obviously, she was our first thing we cared for together, she meant a lot. But seeing your kids mourn their first dog is gut wrenching. So you can imagine as a household our hearts grew a little cold. We knew we wanted a dog, but my oldest son Cole has allergies and it’s hard to find a hypoallergenic puppy for adoption, and we adopt don’t shop.
Anyway, because I am famous, and I have famous friends. In fact, Jake is probably my least famous friend but he’s Jewish and I have to support the future. Anyway my famous friend Jason Biggs who is actually not Jewish though everyone thinks he is had just adopted a dog that fit the bill from Animal Haven in TriBeCa. I made a call, saw a similar but cuter rat dog rescue had come in from the Bronx, and the rest is her story. We call her Myrna. She makes our life better. All the homies should adopt a dog. If you have the means to take care of an animal, it will make you a better person to love something that needs it. You hear me gangsters?!
4) Carter Young suits
There is one designer doing shit that seems like it was meant for me. Carter the boy from Philly is literally like 7 years old and fresher then Amazon prime groceries. Get on the train now though it’s probably left the station. My man did a couple customs for my new show “101 Places to Party Before You Die” (premiering July 14 on Tru TV) and as you can see, he does not play. It’s classic 70’s vibes with a little bit of a millennial, play. And they fit husky dudes well, score!!!
