I’ve been thinking a lot about how these days that everyone kind of knows about a lot of the big names in menswear. Balenci, Gucci, Yeezy, yada yada. But what are some brands YOU love that you don’t think are getting enough shine? Weigh in!
You heard of Aime Leon Dore? Very niche small brand……….nah but if I’m being serious I’d say brands like: Corridor, Whythe, Beams is v well known but kind of overlooked imo, Dehen, 18 East. Def not underrated but i think what Reese Cooper is doing is so good and he could be up with the most well known names in 5 years time
Transparent Hotel is still major league in its infancy but early products and brand ethos make it a contender to pop off in the next 12 months. Bought one of their waxed canvas 5-Panel hats and it’s become my everyday go to. Really cool concept too, essentially a radically transparent brand for the benefit and education of consumers instead of using transparency as a marketing tactic.
May be more niche than overrated but Rubato makes some phenomenal basics🤷🏻♂️I do agree with the take on OL being a more fluid brand in between that high and medium (F)ashion👌🏻3S is a brand I can’t say enough good things about either. Easy to wear, quality and just different enough (materials, cuts, etc.).

And Austin is really hitting their stride. Their FW21 stuff was really special, and their SS22 collection is another big step forward.

evan kinori's quality at that price point is so top. I really appreciate the deep focus on material and fabric combined with simple silhouettes
I feel like every corridor season gets better and better
Sunflower has turned into my favorite brand for pants, super quality and extremely affordable when they go on sale.
Show some love for Margaret Howell
Adsum, EG, OL
Truly sustainable brands— ASKET and 66°North. Happy to send you some pieces to check out!
Not so much "menswear" in its specifics but I love Advisory Board Crystals and the product evolution they've gone through in the last 3 years
The big homies Checks Downtown. One of the best here in Aotearoa (New Zealand) but feel they don't get enough shine globally
