This week, to celebrate the official start of autumn, I set out to put together a Mega List™ (meaning one of the ones I do with 100 pieces) and fill it with some of the best fall gear available on the market. But instead of just rattling off my favorite stuff in general, I decided to compile the below selection of 100 items, including 29 carefully curated vintage pieces, using a price ceiling of $200. After all, while I can rationalize a splurge with the best of ‘em, I also know that not everything can be a budget-stretching big ticket item justified as an “investment piece.” (Though, as far as rationalizations go, that remains the undisputed GOAT.)

Why $200? To be totally honest, it began as a bit of an arbitrary number. But after crunching the data and analyzing the market, I legitimately feel like it’s an amount that allows most people to get their hands on products of at least reasonable quality (especially when we’re talking vintage) without mortgaging their financial futures on jawnz.

Plus, there just happens to be a lot of great sweaters, boots, shirts, scarves, jackets, and more out there that—no pun intended—fall right in that sweet spot of 100 to 200 bucks. That in mind, a good chunk of the below is also less than a bill, which means you could select one thing from each category and be set for the entire season without dropping a grand. Anyway, there’s a lot of goodies here that I’ll hope you’ll enjoy, so I’ll let you get to scrolling.
